First off, tell us a bit about your background, and what you do at the Standard?

I’m originally from Chicago and have four older sisters. I’ve lived in Miami almost 6 years. At The Standard Miami, I manage all aspects of the restaurant, as well as, coordinate events.

What’s your favorite secret spot in Miami Beach?
South Point Park at Sunset with the dog and the boyfriend

iPhone or Blackberry? What APP do you use the most?
Blackberry. Brickbreaker (wait that’s not an app)

What’s one of your most memorable moments in the building?
The full marching band and dancers during 2010 Art Basel

I spend most of my time thinking about ____________?
The present and getting stuff done… my quest for efficiency is ironically consuming

What is your favorite movie based in a hotel?
Tie between The Shining and Pretty Woman

How has 2011 treated you so far?
Good so far, looking forward to spending the summer at our property, Sunset Beach, on Shelter Island

When you finally break free from work, what is the next awesome place you plan to vacation to?
Planning on going on a train trip through the European countryside
