In our final wrap on Coachella madness, we thought we’d congratulate The Creators Project, a collaboration between Vice and Intel, for their incredible art installations. The Creators Project is Coachella’s first-ever creative partner.
They re-imagining the festival by creating groundbreaking visual experiences advanced by technology. If you were at the fest last weekend, these were the 5 things they were responsible for:
1. 2,000 Balls During Arcade Fire
2. Spiritualized Cathedral with Jonathan Glazer
3. Living, Breathing Main Stage from United Visual Artists
4. 70-Minute Video Experience from Animal Collective and Black Dice
5. Muti Randolph Light Designs in the Sahara Tent
6. Interpol Under Surveillance
So what exactly is The Creators Project? It’s a global cultural initiative dedicated to identifying leading artists and enabling them to showcase their works and artistic visions through technology and interactive media.
The program includes The Studio (which produces and distributes works from artists across a variety of creative disciplines), an international event series, a documentary TV series, multi-disciplinary collaborative projects and the video website.

Selected artwork from the festival, and new works, will travel as part of their global event series including Paris, Lyon, Seoul, Beijing, Sao Paulo, and back to the United States. To see all their eye-grabbing Coachella installations in detail, check out their daily recaps of the festival…
