
If you’re an LA local or visiting this weekend, you’re in for a real treat. For the second year running, CicLAvia comes to the city’s east side. A total of 7.5 miles of road will be closed to auto traffic, starting in Boyle Heights, cutting across downtown and ending at the bike-centric block on Heliotrope that plays host to Orange 20 and The Bicycle Kitchen. Map, directions and parking (for those traveling a distance to reach the route) can be found here.
No bike? No problem. CicLAvia also encourages walking, jogging, skateboarding, rollerblading, cartwheeling or any other non-auto transportation you can come up with. See you on the streets this Sunday!
