The Standard

Stan likes it raw.  There.  I said it, and I’m not turning back.  That’s why the geniuses behind The Standard Grill and the Biergarten are bringing you the raw bar to end all raw bars.  

Stone crab claws, Taylor Bay scallops, Royal Sterling Caviar, Little Neck clams, Maine lobster, shrimp, Alaskan King Crab legs and SEVEN varieties of oyster…Wellfleet, Blue Point, Beausoleil, Fanny Bay, Yaquina, Hama Hama and Barron Point…all pending market availability, bien sur.

If you do anything this week, I urge you to come down and try the sea urchin.  As my good friend Chef Dan Silverman says, “They are a taste sensation unlike that you have ever tasted.  Way more oceanic and salty than the trays of Uni you think of when you think sea urchin.”  Now if that isn’t enough for me to see you in the Biergarten, maybe a beer with me is?  Let me know.
