Last New Years at Max Fish

Jun 29 2011

If you’ve ever been to Max Fish in New York City, you’d know how important of an institution this little bar is to the city’s art and music scene. We’re sad to see it’s doors close after 21 years. Sniff. Sniff. Gentrification is a bitch.

This New Years promises to be the big final send off! The following is a message from artist Andrew Kuo (who moonlights as a musician for special occasions, and will be performing New Years at the Fish): “It’s the last NYE at the Fish! We’re gonna play as many sing-a-long punk songs as we can. Which always ends up turning into a Waka/Gooch block. Then into Stevie Nicks. It happens every time.”

Come through and pay your final respects to the sacred building that nursed all the dysfunctional talented brilliant minds of the last 2 decades!
