What is your DJ name? Why?
Japanster. I guess it comes from a big crush I had on Japan when I went there in the late 90’s.
What genre’s of music do you spin?
It goes from post punk to pure African beats. I really love all kinds of music. I played an Arabic belly dance track last Friday just after a Fleetwood Mac song and people loved it.
Who are your favorite new bands?
The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Male Bonding, and Xeno & Oaklander.
Do you have a special closing song of the night?
I usually play White Rabbit by Jefferson Airplane.
