The Standard

Soft core food porn. The term is tantalizing, isn’t it? If this teases your curiosity, meet Marilyn Minter. She has served up Green Pink Caviar… literally… this is the name of her short film we’re introducing in our ongoing video installation entitled 24/7 Projection.

The film follows female models as they paint a glass plate with their tongues by eating colorful candy. Saliva mixes with shiny, vibrant sweets to create a painterly, erotic experience. Green Pink Caviar will screen on continuous loop in The Standard, Downtown LA and The Standard, Hollywood’s respective lobbies through December 6th, and is curated by FYA and Regen Projects.

The film is also being featured on The Standard hotel’s StandART Channel; not to mention, if you catch Madonna’s current tour you’ll see the same film appear as the backdrop to her song “Candy Shop.”
