Yoga Month at The Standard Spa, Miami Beach

Aug 29 2011

I know how sad you must be that Spa Month is over, but here is the good news. September is National Yoga month! This is the perfect time to introduce yoga to a friend or loved one—or new to the practice yourself? Join us at The Standard Spa, Miami Beach for one H2-OM yoga class or one week free yoga (new students only). H2-OM is our weekly special yoga class which features the top local and visiting teachers and includes indoor spa access after the class. Get your card here.

We are very happy to participate in Green Monkey’s Second Annual Yoga Month Mat Crawl. Are you ready for a hard-core yoga challenge? Gather your friends and family to sponsor you for 30 Teachers in 30 Days. Participating classes include Anusara Yoga with Christy Nones, Budokon Flow with Sensei Donato, Vinyasa Flow with Arianne Traverso, or Basic Yoga with Kelly Ann Charles. This year you can kick up the good karma and mat crawl for a cause, through YogaAid.com. The yogi that completes the Mat Crawl and raises the most money will earn a Grand Prize valued at over $5,000! All money raised will go to 305 Spiritual Gangsters, a Miami-based non-profit organization that serves people at risk or in crisis through the practice of yoga. Founder of 305 Spiritual, Terri Cooper is long time friend of The Standard. She frequently visits as a guest teacher and is an all around bad-ass. Register here to participate in the Mat Crawl.
