Brioche french toast with buttered rum, walnuts and bananas
Rules that apply to other meals don’t apply to brunch, well at least not as many rules. It is one of those rare moments in gastronomy where for a reasonable exchange of currency you can consume virtually anything you want. Coffee and juice, water and wine, sweets and savories, meats and vegetables, hair of the dog or just the dog. It is as close as one can get to a modern day horn-a-plenty, or culturally condoned gluttony … semantics.

The Standard 69
Naturally, The Standard Grill kicks brunch’s proverbial rear end. Have you been? If not, why not? Actually, no excuses. We’ll see you next weekend where these delectable items await your ravenous whims.
