The Standard: First off, tell us a bit about your background, and what you do at The Standard?

Aaron Watts: Born on a hot summer day in the Motorcity, I grew up and now aspire to be a comic book creator. I once worked as a garbage man for a story idea. At The Standard, I play as a gopher and part-time drink maker.

What’s your favorite secret spot in NYC?

A little out of the way spot along the shore of the lake in Prospect Park.

iPhone or Blackberry? What APP do you use the most?

iPhone. I use the “notes” app way more than any other.

What’s one of your most memorable moments in the building?

On Halloween, Conan the Barbarian came to drink at the bar.

Making comic books.
