Happy Monday! This To Do list marks the first To Do list of the year (since last week we couldn’t really DO anything as we were still recovering from New Year’s Eve and in fact 2011 in general). So now that we’re back on our feet and ready to consume culture, here is the one thing you should do if you’re in New York, Miami, or Los Angeles.
NEW YORK

Winter is finally in full effect and despite the mild weather that we’ve been blessed with up until Christmas, we’ve already resorted to whining and complaining about the dropping temperatures. While hot toddies and some exercise solve the problem for some, others will reminisce about warmer days at this indoor park in NoLita. Equipped with colorful foliage and food vendors, this cozy retreat will temporarily eliminate your spring/summer withdrawals. Details here.
MIAMI

The Webster Miami has teamed up with one of our favorite fashionistas, Leandra Medine from The Man Repeller for a one of a kind exclusive styling event. Recently named the number one most influential fashion power player in 2011 by AdWeek, this will be Leandra’s first collaboration with The Webster and we can’t wait to hang out with her here in Miami.
LOS ANGELES

If you haven’t gone already you MUST stop by LACMA to see Edward Kienholz powerful installation, Five Car Stud: 1969-1972 revisited. It’s a life-size tableau complete with five full-size automobiles and a brutal racially charged message. The original piece was only shown once, in Germany in 1972 and it has since remained in storage in Japan for almost forty years. This is its first public showing in the United States and the exhibit is only up until January 15th. Hurry!
