The Standard

May day! May day! Not to be outdone by NYC’s PEN World Voices Festival, on Tuesday, May 8th, Artillery and The Standard, Hollywood are joining forces to bring literary LA to the forefront.

Curated by Steven Reigns, these writers bring a balanced symposium of talent, word play, and imagination to the tradition of Artillery readings. The line up includes Michael Serrato, comedy writer, Tony Valenzuela, fiction writer, Cheryl Klein, novelist, and of course Steven Reigns, our May Day curator and poet.

Held in The Cactus Lounge at The Standard, Hollywood, there will be a wine reception starting at 7pm, and the reading will promptly start at 8pm. Both are open to the public.
