SPA SECRETS: Our Most Popular Juice Recipe, Revealed!

Psst! We’ve got some juicy gossip. Okay, so it’s not exactly the kind of tittle-tattle overheard at your grandmother’s knitting circle, but it’s news nonetheless. As you may already know, The Standard Spa, Miami Beach hosts monthly juice fasts (both 3-day and 5-day programs) where guests guzzle their fruits and veggies to detox, cleanse, slim down and just feel plain good.

The juicy BIG reveal we promised? We hit up Spa and Wellbeing Coordinator, Mary Robertson for The Spa’s most popular juice recipe, the P.A.W.M. (Pineapple, apple, wheatgrass, mint,) for you folks. Because let’s face it, sharing is caring, right?

P.A.W.M Recipe:
This juice is great for workout recovery, hangovers, and flu symptoms. It also serves as an anti-inflammatory and is extremely alkalizing for the body.

To make your own at home you will need:
- A juicer (cold press juicers are the best, but also very expensive. There are many different juicers on the market.)
- 1 & 1/2 cup of cubed organic pineapple
- 1 Granny Smith apple
- 1 cup of chopped wheatgrass
- A sprig of mint

Start by first adding a portion of pineapple and apple, in between adding these two fruits add a bit of the chopped wheatgrass and a few leaves of mint.

A tip to getting the most of your produce? Juice the pulp twice to extract every last bit of juice. Lastly, ENJOY!
